Grammar tipsShow
Talking about days: In Italian, putting il or la before a day of the week means "on that day" or "every week on that day":
il sabato = on Saturdays / on Saturday
la domenica = on Sundays / on Sunday
Do not say "su sabato" or "in sabato".
Truthful scheduling limits: Use "No, la domenica non posso lavorare" if Sunday is unavailable. State your own limits; you do not need to give a personal reason.
