Why I built this

I'm Amir. I came to Europe as an international student, and like many people who move here, I looked for work in hospitality.

I learned quickly that even for a general job in a hotel, a restaurant or a bar, you first have to win an employer's trust. You need some way to show what you can do, like serving guests well or speaking more than one language. Most of the certificates that do this are expensive, which shuts out exactly the people who need them most.

So I built Hospitality Certificate. The courses are free, and if you want proof of what you learned, the certificate costs a few euros, paid only after you pass. Alongside the job courses I keep adding free courses that are simply useful to know, like Italian dining culture.

I wanted these certificates to mean something. That's why each one comes from a full course, a real exam graded on our server, and a unique ID that any employer can check in seconds. Employers can also use the courses to train their own teams, and verify candidates before an interview.
